Liberated Pigs on tour in Rostock

The 8 liberated pigs from the huge pigfarm in Wendisch Priborn showed up at the demonstration in Rostock on the third of June. On the first of June the G8-leaders were put in their place in their factory farm stables. The pigs declared solidarity with the world-wide struggle against capitalism and corporate power.
Besides that, the pigs informed the interested audience around and inside the demonstration about the devastating effects of the meat industry and the international trade policy that makes this all possible;

Millions of animals are murdered after a short and horrible life. Small farmers in the South and in Europe loose their land and livelihood and millions in South America are forced to migrate to the slums. Savannah and rainforest is cut to make place for endless fields of GM soy monocultures. Massive use of pesticides kills people, water and soil. All mainly for a unnecessary consumption of meat.
The pigs hope that people get the message and stop eating meat and support local, environmental food production. Don't expect anything from the leaders! Free yourself!
